Who remembers the Fisholow tumble dryer from the 60`s, made by Bendix UK Ltd as an own label for the local Electricity Boards, my Aunt Alice had this one purchased from MANWEB (Merseyside and North Wales Electricity Board).  Loved the sound of the clockwork timer, even as it shut off the timer carried on ticking, remember the steam wafting out of the exhaust hose at the back and pulling out the nylon bag to clean the fluff off the filter.  Tell us your experience of seeing one !!
