The Philips Toptwin Twintub Washing Machine manufactured in 1968 has a superfast 3,000rpm spin speed making drying clothes so much quicker. It boasts a pear shaped can with a ball point mechanism making it incredibly stable and gets up to be very quickly. From start to 3,000rpm in 14 secs and braking to a stop in under 10 seconds.
